St. Paul's Cathedral.

image.
Yesterday, K and I earned our lunch by climbing the dome at St. Paul's Cathedral. For those who don't know, the Cathedral is probably London's most recognized monument. It dates back to 604 AD, and interestingly enough was the tallest building in London's skyline from 1710 until 1968.

We weren't allowed to take photos inside, but here's something you may remember.

here.
Yes, Diana and Charles wed in St. Paul's Cathedral on July 29th, 1981. If you're currently rolling your eyes at my royal tidbits, go here for some other historical facts on the Cathedral.

It wasn't me. Seriously it wasn't.

Cameras were condoned on our climb. Here's a look at London's very own Grouse Grind.

Not very 'Right Boot' friendly. The way down was a little more spacious. Poor little guy.

And the view from the top...

The Tate Modern.

The Globe Theatre.

The Gherkin.
The London Eye.

Tallest Building- still working on it.

Shutter Bug.
Tower Bridge.
And then there was a little phone booth photo shoot. Don't hate.

  1. When I come to visit... you are taking me to the Globe! That is all I want in life!
