THE BEST Rum (BRANDY) Balls


Before we are all completely sick of all things Christmas, I wanted to share this family recipe (I say family, as we've made it for years, but it is actually a recipe of Diane Clement's). We haven't made these rum balls in a few years, as the rolling process is a bit tedious (basically we got lazy), but this year I insisted.

Hmm, well, that's certainly setting the bar high. I do have a good feeling about 2014 and all it has in store, but I did have an amazing evening re-reading and cataloguing my London posts from last year. I was finding there were some obvious things that stood out in my mind that I could quickly put in the search bar, but without looking back through my archives, there were certain wonderful events that would skip my mind. So now they are organized under the London tab at the top of the page.

Goodbye 2013!

Happy New Year!



I'd have to say, I couldn't be more stoked for 2014! I'm feeling settled in my new apartment, and the holidays have been wonderfully social. Perhaps I shouldn't admit this, but I've been out and about most evenings, and have had more catch-ups with friends (near and far) than I can count.
