Southlands Stroll.

I spent Saturday with my good friend Nicola, and our SLRs down by the Fraser River. We took a little walk through Southlands, admiring the lovely homes, and their accompanying horse paddocks.
For those who aren't familiar with this part of Vancouver, it's a 'My Little Pony' paradise, plunked down in the middle of the city. It's incredibly unique, tranquil...and not to mention, VERY unaffordable, but a girl can dream right?

Can you tell that we couldn't get enough of those snowberries? Such a beautiful sign of winter.

Following our walk, we stopped in at the Southlands Nursery, to catch a little glimpse of the  upcoming holidays. I'm making Nicola promise to show me how to make one of these.

Did you have a wonderful weekend? Other than my Saturday walk, I had a lovely 'wine night' with the ladies, a yummy breakfast at a greasy spoon establishment on the North Shore, sushi at my favourite spot (yes, 'Sushi Sushi'), and spent Sunday running errands and hanging out with the Murph Dog.

....we are now back up to weekly posts, that is better than nothing right?

Slow and easy wins the race.
