Reunited...and it feels so good.

I had an AMAZING weekend.

Other than the guilt riding over me as I glanced periodically at the stack of texts, and papers that needed reading (and were not going to be read), it was fantastic from start to finish.

On Saturday night I went to the Danbee / Mah-Kee-Nac / America's Camp, UK reunion at the Goat pub. I had been counting down to this night ever since I first realized I'd be spending the year in London.

A little Background: Camp Danbee is an all girls residential sports camp in western Massachusetts that I worked at for eleven summers. Yes, eleven. Unbelievable. Mah-Kee-Nac, was our brother camp (funny enough, both of my brothers worked there) in Lenox, MA. America's Camp was a camp I volunteered at for three years for children who lost parents in the attacks of 9/11. When I think of summer, I think of Pittsfield and Lenox Massachusetts. I think of camping on the Cape, days off in Boston, and New York City, and all of these faces. Some of my fondest memories are with some of these people, and when we get together it is like no time has past at all.

I think I was grinning from ear to ear the entire night, as I was so thrilled to be with this crew again. I'm sorry I don't have more photos (I had planned on documenting this night well), but there was far too much to catch up on, and laughs to be had, to keep pausing for documentation.

I know it's blurry, but it makes me laugh. Trust me, you don't want to know what they are talking about.
G is going to be a dad in 4 weeks! So excited for him.

Hadn't seen J in forever EVER.

'Sweaty' and some random, wearing his shirt.
Unfortunately, most of the ladies arrived later, and I only have a couple of photos taken by a friend.

K was over from the states!
Dinner of Champions...but I made up for it with a CHEZ Burger (okay, maybe two...eek!).
Okay, hold onto your hats. I can't believe I'm about to show you these, but here are some photos (of photos...sorry!), from back in the day. I think most of these pictures are from the early camp days (2000-2003 or so). Don't judge. We were young. We were young and I think it's fair to say we've gotten better with age.

What's worse, my sunglasses or my brother's hair?

The self acclaimed 'Awesome Foursome'

I know what you're thinking. What a good looking bunch of individuals.
To those whose consent was not obtained before I humiliated you (all of you), I apologize, but if I was going down, I was bringing you down with me.
You are welcome.

One day I'll get around to scanning them properly, or at least attempting it without a flash!

I love and miss you all!
